This innovative design replaces the traditional rubber connections with a more robust and durable solution. The ball system provides a more direct and efficient transfer of suspension travel from one side of the vehicle to the other, which is a critical aspect of maintaining stability and control when cornering.
Materials such as rubber and urethane, commonly used in traditional sway bar end links, do not provide sufficient transfer of suspension travel from side to side. This can result in a less responsive and less predictable suspension system, particularly during high-performance driving scenarios.
In contrast, the ball system used in the West Coast Fiero Front Sway Bar End Links has been thoroughly tested and proven to provide superior performance. During our testing of the In-line ball Joint system, we were able to eliminate a full 2 inches of suspension travel from one side of the vehicle to the other through the sway bar. This reduction in lateral suspension travel results in a more stable and controlled ride, particularly during cornering maneuvers.
