The WCF Oil Cooler is an essential component when undertaking a 3800 Engine conversion. The standard oil lines and oil cooler are insufficient to accommodate the demands of the larger 3800 transmission.
This product is designed in a radiator style with 3/8″ oil line inputs and outputs, ensuring optimal fluid flow. It significantly outperforms the factory radiator cooling system, which is inherently designed to operate at 200 degrees, thereby offering minimal cooling effect on the transmission oil. It is crucial to note that transmission oil should not exceed 250 degrees. Our cooler efficiently maintains the oil temperature below 200 degrees.
