These headers are designed to fit the 3800 Series I engine that has been retrofit into the Fiero. This places the exhaust outlet in the same area as the stock Fiero exhaust. These headers are standard 1-1/2" primary or can be custom ordered 1-5/8" 16 gauge head pipes with 3/8" thick flanges. The "Y" pipe is made of 2", 16 gauge tubing and is connected to the 2-1/2" "Y" pipe collector with a 2-1/2" 3 bolt flange. These headers will give your engine significant torque increases in the 1500 to 6500 rpm range for the modified 3800 engine. The "Y" pipe terminates in approximately the same location as the stock 2.8 "Y" pipe, enabling you to use a catalytic converter and a proper muffler for a mellow exhaust tone. This header system ships as raw metal. They may be painted with high-temperature paint by installer. We may also ceramic coat the headers with an additional charge.
